The INVESTech project aims to develop and consolidate Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in 5 countries in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), focusing on the development of sustainable, inclusive, and innovation-driven skills ecosystems. The Cyprus CoVE, coordinated by four national partners, addresses key national skills gaps in advanced digital technologies, with the main challenge being the lack of connection between education and current market needs. To meet these challenges, the project develops targeted activities including micro-credential courses aligned with European frameworks in 7 advanced technologies, teacher training, bootcamps, and skills competitions. It also supports VET providers in embedding green practices and promoting inclusive education. The national CoVE is supported by a dedicated web portal that serves as the main gateway for both national and transnational collaboration. The platform provides information on CoVEs in all participating countries, allows organisations to apply for membership in national or international CoVE, and facilitates the design and listing of ICT-based micro-credentials. It enables students and professionals to access training opportunities while also supporting educators through webinars, seminars, and event creation tools. The This presentation will outline how the Cyprus CoVE is structured, the services it offers, and how local educators and institutions can engage with it and benefit.
