On 18 May, the Technical University of Košice organised an event for more than 30 representatives of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Slovakia. The programme focused on green transformation, green skills, and their integration into VET curricula and internships. The event created space for sharing experiences, practical approaches, and inspiring examples from practice that support the preparation of students for the changing demands of the labour market and the challenges connected to the green transition. Participants discussed the role of VET in supporting sustainability and explored ways to better integrate green competences into education and training. As part of the programme, the Handbook for the green transition of VET organisations was also introduced.
