The event is part of T5.2 Action plans for the green transition of VET organisations and seeks to outline specific steps and initiatives to be taken in order to implement sustainable practices and actions within the organisations. These action plans will be developed involving the active participation and input of stakeholders of the school community. Indicative actions that the plans will include are: - Development of strategies to reduce waste generation, improve waste separation and recycling practices. - Implement measures to reduce water consumption, promote awareness of water-saving practices, and explore water reuse options. - Encourage sustainable transportation options, such as promoting walking, cycling, or public transport for coming to school. - Explore funding opportunities for incorporating green infrastructure elements, such as green roofs, or renewable energy installations. - Develop initiatives to raise awareness and educate the school community about environmental issues, sustainable practices, and the importance of the green transition.
