The 1st Pitching Day in Slovakia took place on February 26 at the University Library of TUKE, providing a unique platform for high school students to showcase their IT projects. 22 projects from 15 schools were presented, with each team given 3 minutes to pitch their idea and 3 minutes for feedback from a professional jury. Students shared project goals, technologies used, progress so far, and plans for the final round in June, demonstrating their ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely. The jury included industry experts from GlobalLogic Slovakia, FPT Slovakia, Siemens Healthineers, and TPA Group, who offered constructive feedback on both technical solutions and presentation skills. The event connected student projects with industry, enhanced presentation skills, and motivated young IT talent for future development.
