Klaipėda Science and Technology Park (KSTP) is a public institution and a non-profit organization. It was established in 2002, in cooperation with Klaipėda University and the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania. KSTP is a business support agency focused on promoting innovations and providing specialized services in the areas of green and blue (marine) technologies. In over 20 years, the KSTP team was involved in the implementation of over 60 international and national projects and gained valuable experience as a lead partner in 13 projects. The mission of KSTP is to promote the development of modern scientifically susceptible technologies, and to provide infrastructural and consulting services for innovative enterprises and business ideas in western Lithuania and in whole country. KSTP specialists provide consultations for companies and individuals which are mostly related to the issues of establishing and developing their business, creating new products and services, as well as the protection of intellectual property. Currently, the KSTP community consists of around 100 companies, public institutions and divisions of international companies, located on its premises.
