On April 24 and 25, 2024 the Technical University of Košice hosted the kick -off international partners' meeting for the highly anticipated INVESTECH project. Over forty experts from five countries came together to set the stage for this groundbreaking initiative, poised to transform vocational education and training in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The INVESTECH project meeting brought together leading minds from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Lithuania, and Slovakia. This unique collaboration aims to build a transnational platform that fosters seamless cooperation between Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE). By bridging the gap between the business sector and educational institutions, the project seeks to ignite innovation, create dynamic skills ecosystems, and drive forward green transformation and social inclusion. Dynamic Participation: More than forty experts from five countries gathered to kick-start the project. Strategic Duration: Spanning four years, the project promises long-term impact and sustainable development. Leading Coordination: Spearheaded by the Technical University of Košice, with strong support from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Infromatics. Broad Involvement: Encompassing 18 partners from Slovakia, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Lithuania. The INVESTECH project is not just about cooperation; it's about creating a vibrant space for international innovation. By aligning the strengths of the business sector with educational institutions, the project is set to revolutionize the ICT skills ecosystem, championing green practices and fostering an inclusive society.
