On November 7th, an important event took place in Lithuania as part of the Erasmus+ INVESTECH project (no. ERASMUS-EDU-2023-PEX-COVE 101143958). Professionals and like-minded participants gathered online to discuss the Centers of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) mission, vision, and strategic directions. 🔹 Event Highlights: Presented insights from the first INVESTECH workshops and discussed their influence on the project's future direction. Explored CoVE’s mission and vision, seeking to clearly define the objectives and values of these Centers of Vocational Excellence. Collaborated with participants on strategies for effectively developing CoVE and reinforcing their role in the IT sector, both in Lithuania and across Europe. About the INVESTECH Project: INVESTECH is driving the establishment of CoVE in five European regions, including Klaipėda, Lithuania, as well as Košice (Slovakia), the Attica region (Greece), Sofia (Bulgaria), and Nicosia (Cyprus). The project integrates a five-layer innovation spiral (Q2IH) model, promoting collaboration among academia, industry, the public sector, civil society, and other sectors. This collaborative model supports CoVE alignment with regional smart specialization strategies, with a strong emphasis on sustainable development.
