Entrepreneurial Academy Cyprus
The INVESTech Cyprus National Entrepreneurial Academy, hosted by Emphasys Centre, is a flexible learning hub that supports VET students, teachers, trainers and ICT professionals in developing entrepreneurial, digital and innovation skills. Through bilingual e-learning courses, blended programmes, workshops and summer schools, the Academy promotes creativity, practical learning, self-employment and entrepreneurship within Cyprus’s ICT and VET sectors.
About the Academy
The INVESTech Cyprus National Entrepreneurial Academy is a newly established initiative hosted by Emphasys Centre. It aims to become a national hub for developing entrepreneurial, digital and innovation skills in Vocational Education and Training, with a particular focus on the ICT sector.
The Academy supports VET students, teachers, trainers and ICT professionals through e-learning courses, blended programmes, practical workshops, summer schools and train-the-trainer activities. Its courses cover entrepreneurship education, ICT start-ups, creativity, innovation in VET, product design, social and emotional intelligence, and support for aspiring entrepreneurs. Several programmes are aligned with the European EntreComp and DigComp frameworks.
All courses will be developed in English and translated into Greek. Learning will be supported through the INVESTech web portal and Moodle platform, providing interactive activities, downloadable resources, discussion forums, progress tracking and certificates of completion.
Through collaboration with educators, businesses, ICT professionals and VET stakeholders, the Academy will ensure its training remains practical and relevant to current needs. Regular feedback, expert reviews, pilot testing and continuous course updates will support quality and long-term impact. Its sustainability will be strengthened through integration into the Cypriot VET ecosystem, strategic partnerships, and national and European funding opportunities.
